Summer School 2017 "Sustainable Cities"

These Summer School and workshop are devoted to study recent advances in urban economics.

  1. Summary

Urbanization and cities development are a key issue regarding climate change. Recent advances in urban economics have studied, for instance, relationships between urban structure, the design of public policies and environmental nuisances. This Summer School aims at studying this topic.

During the school, Professor Matthew Kahn, a leading researcher in urban economics, will deliver a 6 hours lecture about his works on urban growth and environmental challenges. The second day will provide the opportunity to the participants to present a selected work. No more than 8 papers have been selected.
